ACT Building Control

Due to the technical nature of the services we provide it is essential that we keep up to date with current building practices and construction legislation.  We are therefore able to provide technical briefings and seminars related to any of the specialist services we provide.

We are currently providing training on the following subjects;

Recent Changes to The Building Regulations - Part F, J and L - PowerPoint presentation that lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes

This technical briefing is a practical interpretation of the changes that is aimed at architects, surveyors and other building designers and those invlolved in the development of buildings or alterations to existing buildings.  It focuses on the main changes and offers guidance on how to comply and interpret the regulations guidance.

BS9999 Fire Safety Design Guidance - PowerPoint presentation that lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes

This technical briefing on fire safety design is aimed at architects and surveyors and those involved in the design of buildings.  It focuses on the key parts of this extensive fire safety design standard that will allow designers to use it when designing buildings rather than the more prescriptive standards and guidance contained in approved document B.

All of our seminars and technical briefings can be provided free of charge to groups of four or more people.  If you require technical training or would like to discuss what we can provide please contact Paul Hughes at our Gloucester office.
