We are a firm of Chartered Surveyors with vast building construction experience and provide high quality professional building control services. Our services are provided from our established and growing network of regional offices at Bristol, Gloucester, London, Newbury and Reigate. If necessary we can provide enhanced services including pre-application plan checking, value engineering, detailed technical advice and seminars, attendance at meetings, additional inspections, etc. to create a fully bespoke service.
Act Building Control Ltd Company Directors are Paul Hughes BSc (Hons) MRICS MBEng RMaPS and Alex Maidment BSc (Hons) MRICS RMaPS.
Paul Hughes is a chartered building surveyor, building engineer and registered member of the association for project safety. Paul manages all aspects of the business and is based in the Gloucester head office and has an expert knowledge of the specialist services that Act Building Control provide. Paul manages all regional offices on a daily basis in terms of quality management of design assessments and site inspection services.
Alex Maidment is a chartered building surveyor and registered member of the association for project safety. Alex manages all aspects of the business and is based in the Reigate office. Alex manages the London and surrounding regions work including design reviews and approvals and site inspection services.
